Foxconn has signed an MoU with Indonesian Ministry of Investment, IBC, Indika, and Gogoro to set up an EV ecosystem that will include EV and battery cell production
Taiwan’s Hon Hai Technology Group, more popularly known as the Apple iPhone maker Foxconn, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indonesian Ministry of Investment (BKPM), along with Industri Baterai Indonesia (IBC), PT Indika Energy Tbk (Indika) and battery swap solutions provider Gogoro, to jointly develop an electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem in Indonesia that focuses on electric battery, electric mobility, and associated services, the company announced on 21 January 2022.
