UAW confirms 65% of Fiat Chrysler (FCA) workers reject contract, negotiations to resume
Rejection of the contract does increase the risk of a strike and negotiations should continue.
As had been expected, the United Auto Workers (UAW) at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has rejected the proposed contract, with the UAW confirming that 65% of its rank-and-file members rejected the four-year agreement. In a statement, the FCA said it looks forward to continuing the dialogue, though reinforced that the company believed the proposed contract achieved its objectives.
