ROHM unveils bidirectional TVS diodes for advanced in-vehicle communication
The new ESDCANxx series by ROHM enhances CAN-FD protocol support in vehicles, ensuring high-quality data transmission and device protection
As reported in a press release on Feb. 19, ROHM has announced the development of bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) (electrostatic discharge [ESD] protection) diodes designed to support controller area network with flexible data-rate (CAN-FD) high-speed in-vehicle communication, which is increasingly in demand due to the advancements in autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems.
