Korea’s ILJIN to establish manufacturing facility in Phenix City (US)
Plant to begin production by July 2011
Korean wheel bearing manufacturer ILJIN Alabama Corporation plans to set up a manufacturing facility in Phenix City, Albama (US), Fox 6 WBRC. The company will invest US$31m to establish the facility, creating 108 jobs initially. The plant will produce chassis and bearings for Kia and Hyundai. The company will begin hiring workers for the facility in March next year and commence production by July.
