GS Yuasa to invest JPY30bn in lithium-ion JV with Mitsubishi
Investment will increase annual output capacity by 6.5 million cells
GS Yuasa, along with its joint-venture (JV) partner Mitsubishi, will invest JPY30bn (USD385.6m) to boost the production of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles (EV) such as the i-MiEV, reports Reuters.
