Honda to invest USD98m in powertrain facility in Ohio, US
Plant to manufacture high-tech pulley components for 2013 Honda Accord
Honda plans to invest USD98m at its engine plant in Anna, Ohio (US) to manufacture high-tech pulley components for the automaker’s new continuously variable transmission (CVT) technology, reports the Detroit Free Press. As part of the investment, the automaker will utilise the 84,000ft2 facility for lathing, heat-treating, grinding and subassembly of precision CVT pulley systems.
