US DoT selects VTT Institute as lead university in Tier 1 University Transportation Centre
Move to advance connected vehicle systems and applications
The US Department of Transportation (DoT), Research and Innovative Technology Administration, has granted USD3.5m to set up a program for transportation research, education, and technology transfer for a Tier 1 University Transportation Centre, which will be headquartered at the Virginia Tech Transportation (VTT) Institute, says a press release by the Institute.
