Sales declined 6.7% in the fourth quarter of 2005

Reduced vehicle build schedules, reduced capacity utilization, and reduced global pricing prompted Superior Industries International, Inc. to report an operating loss of US$35.58m in the fourth quarter ended 31st December 2005, compared to operating profit of US$14.1m in previous year corresponding quarter.
