Nissan begins construction of new plant in Mexico, will not export to Brazil
Recent trade issues between Mexico and Mercosur nations are starting to impact investment and distribution plans for Japanese automakers
Nissan Mexicana has officially begun construction of a new plant at its Aguascalientes (Mexico) complex, one which is expected to boost Nissan's Mexican production from 600,000 units currently to over one million units when the plant is finished and fully online.
