Motherson Sumi Systems Limited’s (MSSL) consolidated net profit declined 87.5% year-on-year (y/y) to INR81.4m (USD1.4m, 30 June 2012) in the first quarter ended 30 June 2012, compared with INR652.7m (USD14.4m, 30 June 2011) in the corresponding period a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in India.
