Asahi Kasei begins production of lithium-ion battery separator in China
New plant to help company meet growing demand of LIB separators
Asahi Kasei E-Materials, a business unit of Japan-based Asahi Kasei, has commenced production of Hipore™ lithium-ion battery (LIB) separators in a new manufacturing facility in Suzhou, Jiangsu province (China), the company said in a press release.
