Volvo to sell Spanish crankshaft facility
Automaker to continue to procure crankshafts from the facility
Volvo AB is planning to sell a facility in Leganes (Spain). The site, which manufactures crankshafts for medium-duty automotive applications, will be divested to MAPE along with its 150 employees, and its production will be relocated in conjunction with a switch to a new engine in 2013.
