Dongfeng to begin assembling light trucks at Zil in 2013
Chinese OEM Dongfeng is to begin assembling trucks at the plant of the Russia luxury limousine maker ZIL, according to a Prime-TASS news agency report.
Dongfeng will assemble the vehicles which will be light-duty trucks from semi-knocked down kits, with production beginning in 2013. The initial production output for the project will be 2,000 units.
