Plant to have initial capacity of 9,600 units a year

Beijing Automotive Works (BAW), a subsidiary of the Chinese Beijing Automobile Industry Holding Company (BAIC), has opened a new assembly plant in Springs, Johannesburg (South Africa), according to a report by Independent Online.
