The after-effects of Deplhi's chapter 11 filing
The sheer scale of Delphi as a supplier means that it’s bankruptcy filing is likely to have some far reaching effects across the industry, and particularly in the US heartland. The Anderson Economic Group, a Michigan based economic analyst has published a paper called the Likely Impact of Delphi Bankruptcy, which hopes to provide some timely indications of the consequences that are likely to be played out over the coming two to three years.
