GAC Fiat aims for annual output capacity of 200,000 units by 2013
Higher output will be driven primarily by the strong demand of the JV's latest model
GAC Fiat aims to boost its annual production capacity to 200,000 units by 2013, reports Gasgoo Automotive News, citing GAC Fiat general manager Zheng Xiancong. GAC Fiat is a 50-50 joint venture (JV) between Chinese automaker Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC) and its Italian partner, Fiat. Xiancong stated that higher output will be driven primarily by the strong demand of the JV's latest model, the Viaggio.
