Audi to assemble Q3 in India in 2013
Will assemble the Q3 sport utility vehicle (SUV) at its Aurangabad plant around middle of 2013
Audi plans to start assembling the Q3 sport utility vehicle (SUV) at its Aurangabad plant, located in the Indian state of Maharashtra, reports the Economic Times. "We are planning to start assembling Q3 in India. We have built a new assembly hall called hall-C [at the Aurangabad plant]... Now with a single shift in the new hall, our installed capacity is reaching out between 7,500 to 9,000 [units]… if we go on higher shift we can go up to 12,000 units, depending on market condition," said Perschke.
