Italian government intervenes to save Taranto steel plant
Fiat says already made alternative arrangements with other steel providers
The Italian government moved swiftly to salvage ILVA steel plant in Taranto, in southern Italy, after it was forced to close following an order from local court over an accusation that emission from the site had caused environmental disaster in surrounding areas, reports Financial Times.
