Toyota to pay USD17.4m penalty for delaying reports of vehicle defect
Automaker agrees to conduct proper review of safety-related matters in future
Toyota has agreed to pay USD17.4m fine for delayed reporting of safety defects under the federal government’s laws, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said in a press release on its website.
