Daihatsu to set up new manufacturing plant in Malaysia through Perodua

Daihatsu Motor plans to set up a new vehicle-manufacturing plant in Malaysia through local holding company Perodua, reports Reuters news agency. Perodua and Daihatsu intend to manufacture fuel-efficient compact cars at the new plant, which will involve an investment of nearly USD257m.
