GM's management and Opel's German union base appear to be on a collision course as reality bites for those companies with high exposure to the European market.
General Motors' (GM's) management is increasing the pressure on Opel's workforce and unions to agree to further cost cuts, including a freeze on wage increases, as long as the unit continues to lose money.
