Nissan to recall more than 18,000 X-Trails in Japan over fire risk
To recall 286,000 vehicles globally over a similar problem
Nissan informed Japan's transport ministry yesterday (24 January) that it will recall 18,452 units of its domestically sold X-Trail sport utility vehicle (SUV) to carry out free repairs because of an engine problem that could cause a fire, reports Jiji Press. Subject to the recall are vehicles produced between August 2008 and September 2012.
