Strikers at PSA plant stall production

Union ratchets up the pressure on PSA which is planning to close the plant as part of its domestic restructuring programme.

Workers striking against the planned closure of PSA's site in Aulnay (France) disrupted production at the site yesterday (28 January), reports Associated Press. According to the news service, workers represented by the CGT union marched into the plant as PSA was preparing to resume production after a similar disruption. A spokesperson for the automaker said that despite the disruption, production was progressively resuming.
