Will add another four-day stoppage to the plant's production schedule next month in order to adjust production

PSA Peugeot Citroën has halted production at its plant in Slovakia between now and the start of next week as a result of the continuing slump in demand across Europe. According to a Reuters report, the company will add another four-day stoppage to the plant's production schedule next month in order to adjust production of the two models, the Peugeot 208 and Citroën C3 Picasso, made at the plant to demand. In a statement, the plant's management said: "Demand for new cars in Europe is continuously falling. Decreasing trends in sales transform into production cuts by several carmakers".
