NGK Spark Plug's April–December 2012 net profit down 1.8% y/y, Tokai Rika falls into red
Still hopeful of achieving its previously announced full-year sales forecast
NGK Spark Plug’s net profit for the April–December period fell by 19.1% year-on-year (y/y) to JPY11.56 billion (USD127 million) compared with JPY14.29 billion for the same period in 2011, according to Dow Jones Global Equity News. Meanwhile, component supplier Tokai Rika fell into the red as it reported a loss of JPY1.78 billion for the nine months ending 31 December 2012.
