Chinese automaker Geely is expanding with the acquisition of London (UK) taxi firm Manganese Bronze
Chinese automaker Geely has fully acquired iconic British taxi-maker Manganese Bronze for GBP11.04 million (USD17.46 million). The acquisition follows Geely's previous ownership of 19.97% in the company acquired in 2006 and 2010. The acquisition was carried out through Geely UK Ltd, a subsidiary of the Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, and includes plant, equipment and property, intellectual property rights, trademarks, and the goodwill of the business, the automaker stated in a press release sent to IHS Automotive.
