Nissan reaches agreement to bring new compact hatchback to Barcelona plant
Nissan has announced that it has reached a deal to invest around EUR110 million in building a new compact hatchback at its Barcelona (Spain) plant
Nissan has announced that it has allocated a new passenger car to its factory in Barcelona (Spain). According to a statement released yesterday (4 February), the site will benefit from EUR110 million (USD149.5 million) of investment to support the manufacture of the new vehicle which will begin in July 2014. The target output of this vehicle has been earmarked at around 80,000 units per annum (upa).
