Mitsubishi to expand Mirage output in Thailand

Part of Mitsubishi's plan, announced in October 2012, to spend THB4–5 billion this year to upgrade its three car-assembly plants in Thailand

Mitsubishi's Thai unit, Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand), plans to increase the output capacity of Mirage eco-cars at its Laem Chabang plant to 200,000 units this year to meet rising demand at home and abroad, reports the Bangkok Post. The automaker will spend around 1 billion baht (USD33.5 million) in the capacity expansion.
