Pirelli announces exhaust emissions control JV
To form a joint-venture (JV) with US-based Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. (CDTi) for emissions control products.
Pirelli has announced that its environmental division Pirelli & C. Ambiente SpA will form a joint-venture (JV) with US-based Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. (CDTi) to market and sell emissions control products. The JV, known as Eco Emission Enterprise Srl, will focus on selling gasoline (petrol) and diesel solutions for on- and off-road heavy and light duty applications to OEMs and the aftermarket in Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Under the deal, Pirelli will supply its silicon carbon substrate particle filters from its Pirelli & C. Eco Technology RO (Romania) business and CDTi will offer up its own vehicle emission control products.
