General Motors (GM) India starts series production of gasoline Enjoy MPV
Rebadged Wuling Hongguang that GM sells in China with joint-venture partner SAIC.
General Motors (GM) has started series production of the gasoline (petrol) version of its Chevrolet Enjoy multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) at its Halol plant in the Indian state of Gujarat, the automaker says in a statement on its website. The event to commemorate the occasion was attended by workers and the automaker's senior executives, including GM India president and managing director Lowell Paddock. The 1.4-litre gasoline version will be capable of delivering 94.6 hp of power, while GM also plans to offer the option of a 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine sourced from Fiat.
