Honda begins single shift pattern at Swindon, UK site
Site moves from double to single shift pattern; follows announcement of voluntary redundancy programme.
Honda has scaled back production at its Swindon (United Kingdom) site, reports BBC News. The site has gone from a double shift pattern at its Car Plant Two facility to a single shift pattern. The automaker also told the news service that it had opened a voluntary redundancy scheme on 18 February, which is looking for 360 manufacturing workers to apply.
