Driven by healthy sales of updated Fusion which is doing well in the US and in Mexico.

Ford Mexico's chief, Gabriel López, expects the company will produce at least 15% more cars in Mexico in 2013, driven by healthy US sales forecast for the company's updated Fusion model, a Reuters report states. Ford produced 451,648 units in Mexico last year, according to Ford figures. Since the end of last year the company has focused on building the updated Fusion for the US market at its Hermosillo plant in northern Mexico, Lopez added. "The truth is that the car has been a runaway success in the US and it's also been well received by the Mexican public…We're going to have a very good 2013, barring any unexpected in US."
