To produce cars equipped with SkyActive technology for Malaysia and the region

Japanese automaker Mazda has invested 100 million ringgit (USD32 million) in setting up an assembly plant in Kulim in Malaysia's Kedah state to produce energy-efficient vehicles (EEVs), said the Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI), reports the Business Times. MAI chief executive officer Mohamad Madani Sahari said the plant, to operate within Inokom Corp plant area, will come up with its first complete knocked-down (CKD) model, the CX-5, as soon as next month.
