Karl-Friedrich Stracke to take charge of contract manufacturing operations, as well as taking the role of head of global engineering.

The former CEO of Opel, Karl-Friedrich Stracke, who unexpectedly departed the company last year in the middle of the firm's restructuring programme, is to take up a new role as the president of Magna-Steyr from 1 April. According to a company statement, Stracke will be in charge of the unit's contract manufacturing operations, as well as taking the role of head of global engineering.
