Toyota deliver on plan launched three years ago.

Indus Motor Company (IMC), Toyota's vehicle-producing joint venture (JV) in Pakistan, launched its locally assembled Fortuner sport utility vehicle (SUV) in the country on Saturday (9 March), reports The Financial Daily. The vehicle is priced at 5.2 million Pakistani rupees (USD51,904), 36.9% cheaper than the imported version, which is priced at USD82,243. The Fortuner is equipped with hi-tech safety and security features, such as anti-lock brake system and SRS airbags. Equipped with a 2,700cc gasoline (petrol) engine, the SUV has seven independent seat belts, with height adjustment for the driver and the front passenger with seven reclining seats, and ample storage space.
