Considers an investment of USD38 million in the plant which is set to produce the next-generation Camaro

General Motors (GM) is considering expanding its Lansing Grand River Assembly Plant in Michigan, according to The Detroit News. The automaker is mulling an investment of USD38 million in the plant which is set to produce the next-generation Camaro. "We are working on a business case for potential future investment at LGR [Lansing Grand River] that would be at the LGR assembly plant," GM spokeswoman Erin Davis said without divulging more details. He did add, however, that the investment would fund facility improvements to strengthen the automaker's manufacturing capability.
