ACEA voices concerns over use of Life Cycle Assessment in proposed EU environmental regulations
Suggested methodology does not represent reliable tool for creating demand for better and greener products, association claims
The European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA), alongside the European Engineering Industries Association, Orgalime and the European consumer standardisation association, ANEC, have all voiced their concerns about the EU's methodology for the suggested Environmental Footprint Methodology based on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
