New Perodua plant to begin operations by mid-2014
Perodua plans to invest nearly USD770 million in Malaysia over the next four years
Malaysian carmaker Perodua has announced that its new manufacturing facility in Rawang, Selangor (Malaysia) will be operational by mid-2014, reports Business Times. Named Perodua Global Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, the MYR790-million (USD253-million) plant is expected to have an annual production capacity of 100,000 vehicles on a single shift, eventually increasing to 300,000 units per annum.
