Hyundai plans to boost the competitiveness of its auto parts by refusing to provide preferential treatment to group affiliates, reports the Electronic Times. The automaker plans to introduce a level playing field for component suppliers and will not award contracts to its affiliates unless they offer world-class technologies comparable with those of globally renowned suppliers such as Bosch, Denso, and Continental.
