International suppliers are expanding their presence in China to compete with local parts makers, as automakers look for cheaper, localised parts – which many will reveal at the Shanghai Auto Show tomorrow (20 April).

International suppliers are announcing promotions and expansions in China in a bid to counter competition from home grown Chinese part suppliers, as international brands look for cheaper, local parts to make their models competitive in China.
