Nippon Chemi-Con net loss widens to USD98m in FY2012-13
Expects to return to black in first half with USD9m in profit
Nippon Chemi-Con’s consolidated net loss in the fiscal year 2012-13 more than doubled to JPY9.25bn (USD98m, 31 March 2013), compared with JPY4.91bn (USD59m, 31 March 2012) in net loss recorded in the previous fiscal. Revenues slipped 8% year-on-year to JPY91.9bn (USD975m) compared with JPY100.2bn (USD1.2bn) in the previous fiscal. Operating loss during the fiscal widened to JPY6.99bn (USD74m), from JPY2.66bn (USD32m).
