Volumes are expected to increase following the deal.

Maruti Suzuki may supply completely knocked down (CKD) kits for the Ertiga multi-passenger vehicle (MPV) produced by its parent in Indonesia, reports the Economic Times. The kits may be used in what will be sold as Mazda VX-1 in the Southeast Asian country. The rebadged Ertiga was recently launched in Indonesia as a Mazda nameplate, as part of the contract manufacturing agreement reached between Suzuki and Mazda. Maruti already exports the kits to its parent in Indonesia but volumes are expected to increase following the deal.
