East London plants of Faurecia, Magna and Eberspächer are scheduled to shut down by end October.

Approximately 250 workers at the East London (South Africa) facilities of three of German automaker Mercedes-Benz South Africa's (MBSA) component suppliers, Faurecia, Magna and Eberspächer, fear they may lose their jobs by October, as MBSA has not renewed its contracts with the suppliers, reports Daily Dispatch News Service. Faurecia produces door panels for MBSA, while Magna and Eberspächer respectively supply mirrors and exhaust systems to the automaker. By the end of October, the East London plants of Faurecia, Magna and Eberspächer are scheduled to shut down.
