Amcast seeks Court permission to auction two plants in Indiana (USA)
Company will use the sale proceeds to pay off secured creditor NexBank SSB
Amcast Industrial Corp. is seeking bankruptcy court approval to divest its plants in the Indiana localities of Gas City and Fremont (USA) after selling its casting unit last month. The company stated that Biditup Auctions & Appraisals Worldwide Inc. has agreed to buy all of the equipment located at the Gas City and Fremont plants for US$6m, while Hanning & Bean Enterprises has offered US$2.25m for the real estate.
