Production line at Santa Rosa City benefits from investment of 2 billion pesos (USD45.8 million)

Japanese automaker Toyota plans to increase its annual production in the Philippines to 36,300 units this year, up 18% year-on-year (y/y), reports The Philippine Star. Towards this goal, Toyota has made improvements in its production line at the company's Philippine plant in Santa Rosa City, with an investment of 2 billion pesos (USD45.8 million). Toyota manufactures the Innova multi-purpose vehicle and the Vios subcompact sedan at its Philippine facility.
