LG completes construction of vehicle component research centre

Centre will be operated under the newly established vehicle components business division.

LG Electronics has completed the construction of its automotive research and development centre in South Korea, reports Yonhap English News. The company aims to develop components and assembly systems such as motors, inverters, and converters for electric vehicles (EVs) at the centre, which will house 800 engineers once operational. The centre will be operated under the newly established vehicle components business division.
