Plans to sell its site in Evreux, France, to a buyer in the industrial sector

utomotive components manufacturer Faurecia is planning to sell one factory in France and reduce the workforce at another, reports Reuters. According to French newspaper Les Echos yesterday (9 July), Faureica plans to sell its site in Evreux, France, to a buyer in the industrial sector, which will repurpose the facility and retain its 90 staff, reports Reuters. The workforce reduction is planned in the painting operations of Faurecia's site near Rennes. Around 90 staff will be transferred to other sites, while the remainder will be offered voluntary redundancy. The report added that the remainder of operations at the site will receive further investment.
