MRF’s net profit up 57% y/y to USD38.1m in Q3 FY2013
Low rubber prices and better inventory management helped company to report high profits
MRF Tyres has reported a 57.2% year-on-year (y/y) increase in net income to INR2.3bn (USD38.1m, 30 June 2013) in the third quarter (Q3) ended 30 June 2013, compared with INR1.4bn (USD25.7m, 30 June 2012) during the same period a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing.
