Hyundai Mobis' Q2 profit up 1.1% y/y
Boosted by rise in sales at its major clients Hyundai and Kia.
Hyundai Mobis has reported a 1.1% year-on-year (y/y) rise in its net profit for the second quarter ending 30 June 2013, reports Dow Jones Asian Equities Report. During this period, the company posted a net profit of KRW893.63 billion (USD799.43 million) compared with KRW883.89 billion in the second quarter of last year. Operating profit for the quarter rose 2.3% y/y to KRW733.16 billion. Sales revenues for the period increased by 13.13%y/y to KRW8.708 trillion.
