Daimler to take refrigerant dispute to top French court
Four vehicles in the Mercedes range are in contravention of European Union rules relating to its Mobile Air-Conditioning (MAC) Directive
Daimler intends to take its dispute with the French government over its use of the R134a air-conditioning refrigerant in its new vehicles to the country's highest court, reports Reuters. The automaker is to submit a case to the Conseil d'Etat (Council of State), said the report, citing French newspaper Les Echos. The report added that no date has been set for the case but that it could take place within the next two weeks.
